Partnership For The ARTS Talk Show #89 Where We Talk Art…
with Artist and Gallery Shop Owner Chuck Heidorn.
While still traveling up north, Victor stops off in Massachusetts to catch up with Artist and Gallery Shop Owner Chuck Heidorn.
This veteran closes up the Surrounding Gallery and Frame shop (an old livery stable from the 1800s) for the day to have a chat with Victor about his life journey that included service in the Navy, graduating from the Boston Museum School of Fine Arts and becoming the “railroad artist,” which led him to open the gallery shop with his wife.
You won’t want to miss this one, because Chuck also tells us all about the biggest and still unsolved art heist in the US, estimated today at over $500 million dollars, from the Isabel Stewart Gardner Museum located in Boston. Chuck has a lot of insight and has a personal connection to the museum.
So listen in and learn some interesting facts from this former Security Foreman’s dealings with the FBI in the ’80s, and why he was interviewed in the Netflix film documentary regarding the heist in 1990.
