Join Dave and Nanette as they talk with Ron Sanders, an ultra-realist master with humble beginnings as a self-taught Artist, who became an award winning student and sold his first commissioned works by the age of 11. Later Ron’s talents were so advanced his art instructors allowed him to create his own curriculum. Graduating from the Columbus School for Art and Design, he has produced award winning figurative, narrative, Victorian art, and classical art. In their conversation, Ron talks about everything from exhibiting in more than two dozen galleries across the nation, persevering through economic and drastic changes in the art production industry, expanding his style in surprising and acclaimed directions, the reminder of life’s fragileness which ultimately lead to Ron’s ‘triple self-portrait’ masterpiece which became a metaphor for his life and his work being featured on covers of magazines such as American Artist and Southwest Art, just to name a few.
