Join Dave and Nanette as they talk with Author Libby Schaefer.   Libby’s first book, “The Ladies of Punta Gorda,” shares the stories of some of the women who make up the fabric of Punta Gorda’s history, from a volunteer firewoman to a midwife to a child of segregation to the daughter of the “ice man.” Libby has also written “Memories of War: Women’s Stories of Sacrifice and Struggle,” “Cooking with Grandma” and “Memoir of a Streetwalker: A Peripatetic Journey of Reduction.” She is currently working on a book telling the stories of 9/11 first responders.
