Partnership For The Arts Talk Show
Episode #15 – Dorothy Brooks
Join Dave and Nanette as they talk with Published Author / Poet Dorothy Brooks. Dorothy’s poems have appeared in periodicals from The Louisville Review to California Quarterly to National Catholic Reporter. In addition to her book “A Fine Dusting of Brightness,” Dorothy has published several chapbooks. She’s an active participant in the Southwest Florida poetry scene, teaching classes at Lifelong Learning Institute, facilitating a poetry circle at Copperfish Books, and penning poems for the annual ArtPoems and Poetry Life events. In their conversation, Dorothy talks about how she came to write poetry and the power of words. She also reads a poem or two for our listeners. It’s a real treat.
