Julie Kostelec from Loveland Center and Becky Holahan from Venice Theatre Listen in as Dave and Nanette chat with Julie Kostelec from Loveland Center and Becky Holahan from Venice Theatre about “Las Vegas: Under the Neon Lights!” For 22 years running, these organizations have collaborated to mount a full-scale theater production featuring developmentally disabled adults from the Loveland Center and the community. As you might expect from the title, the musical includes slot machines and some magic and a Cirque du Soleil style act. Wayne Newton even makes an appearance. Julie and Becky talk about the process of getting the show to the stage and how much fun it is for performers and audience members alike.
