Partnership For The Arts Radio says Thank you! Thanks to all that came out over the weekend and who stopped by our tent to say hello at the 11th annual Peace River National Art Festival at Laishley Park. The event is held annually by the Visual Art Center (VAC) of Punta Gorda. We had a chance to talk to some the VAC staff and instructors including the Wonderful Executive Director herself Janet Watermeier . The very busy Kim Phillips the Program Manager. Instructors such as Howard Hartke who works magic with pottery and the very entertaining Don Melander who teaches watercolor. It was two beautiful days there at the harbor with large crowds and lots of incredible artists, food and wine (talk about the Taste of the Arts!)
